Dick Stoddard has been with KOLO8 NewsNOW since 1997. He is a graduate from Reno High School and his broadcast career started at age 15 playing the "Boss Hits" on KCBN (AM 1230). He is currently doing weekend weather on KOLO8 NewsNOW. His father, Bob Stoddard, owned KATO, later KBET(AM 1340). Dick was a member of the Nevada Air National Guard and has the "NWA" TV Seal of Approval. His mother is the legendary "TV BETTY" who hosted the afternoon movie "Be My Guest" on KOLO for 18 years.
